A Visit the Ilkley Literature Festival We organised a special day trip for Years 5 and 6 to the Ilkley Literature Festival’s author event. The children were lucky enough to meet and get inspiration from Robin Steven, author of the very popular Murder Most Unladylike series.

A Big Win at Hockey Huge well done to our U11’s boys team who won every single game at the Ben Rhydding hockey festival. What an amazing team!

Westville Puppets on Parade! A big thank you to all the parents and children who took part in the Skipton Puppet Parade with their amazing creations. It proved to be a great event for Westville House with some lovely comments from the crowd and the kids had a fantastic time!

More Cross Country Success We had an amazing morning at the Primary Schools Cross Country at Ashlands. All the children ran fantastically as always with Rafferty gaining third place on only his second run!

Success At Our First Cross Country Fixture The first cross country fixture of the year took place at Gateways, with our U9 boys taking 3rd place. Amazing effort everyone!

Cracking Time at Cranedale Residential! Years 5 and 6 had a fantastic time at their Cranedale Residential. Some of the fun activities they got up to included saving wildlife, making iPad videos, team building games, making camp fires, setting traps in the woods and midnight feasts!

Announcing Our Leadership Team Here is our new Leadership Team voted for by Westville pupils. They were treated to a special day trip to London to visit Buckingham Palace, where they visited the staterooms and gardens. The children had an amazing experience and were a credit to the school.

Parents Muck In for Tough Mudder! A massive shout out to all parents and friends who completed the 10m, 25 obstacle Tough Mudder this summer at Broughton Hall. Team Tequila Shots raised a massive £3,580 for the new Westville Playground and Barnardo’s. Great work team!
