Computing

Children are taught to understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science, including abstraction, logic, algorithms and data representation. Lessons give opportunity to analyse problems in computational terms and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs to solve such problems as they progress through school. Children are encouraged to evaluate and apply information technology, including new or unfamiliar technologies, analytically to solve problems. Our team give instructions on how to be responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology. We have our own computer suite, portable chrome books, interactive white boards and small devices.
