Art and Design

Children have opportunity to produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences. The become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques. As part of these lessons children are given opportunities to evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design. Children are taught about great artists, craft makers and designers, and understand the historical and cultural development of their art forms. Children are taught by a specialist art teacher in prep in a fully equipped art studio.
